• .Digital temperature controller sensor with multi-functional thermostat socket plug with timer switch to control the Ceramic heat lamp to provide the necessary humidity which will draw moisture out of the food (fruit, meat or vegetables)
• The heat source is only effective within the first two days of the process and the timers thus allows the user to set the start and stop times for when then temperature setting should be applied (there is thus a programmable cycle time, start and stop time, timer switch)..
• The heating device is made using a solid ceramic element, which is durable and the materials holds up well in high humidity environments such as a food desiccator....
• The flat-faced design is more efficient and longer lasting than conical designs which build-up excess heat internally, ultimately carboniing the element. The screw connection is a standard E27. Comes housed in a Switched Cage which plugs into the thermal controller
• All that is required is to put a small Desk-fan into a plastic box that you get from your local Hardware store. No need for an electrician to wire anything up as everything is plug-and-play. 
• Note: Keep the ceramic heating cage away from the sides of the plastic box (just as a precaution) and ensure that the fan blows directly onto that ceramic heating element and through the food that hangs in the box. Make ventilation holes with a hole saw in the box and cover these with aluminium fly-screen (glue the fly-screen over the holes).
